Lígia Casanova (Lisbon) is a well-known name on the Portuguese interior design scene with a solid career and an unmistakable style, with projects realized all over the country, as well as abroad, and several awards won internationally. A graduate graphic designer, Lígia began her career in advertising, where she worked for several years as an creative director. Her experience of life and work in London helped consolidate her organized mind, a very unique way of approaching projects and, on her return to Portugal, an unexpected invitation for her first interior design project opened her the door to a whole new world, which she is part of to date. Lígia Casanova's studio was founded in 1994 and is based on the motto " to make room for happiness", expressed in the way she approaches color and natural materials, her fondness for serene, welcoming spaces with a playful note, because her homes are happy homes. Recently, her unique style has attracted the Tourism market and Lígia Casanova currently extends her creativity to hospitality interior design projects, seeking her out-of-the-box language, focused on a lifestyle closer to nature, where the environment is handled as if it were one's own home.
