Family project in Alentejo (south of Portugal) and holiday retreat where the landscape has been the main inspiration.

Divided into two floors, the house has a total area of approximately 180m2, with a large living room shared with the kitchen, which also marks a meeting place.

The landscape, the natural light, the immensity of the surroundings provided a house that accentuates these intrinsic qualities, with the introduction of light and painted wood, natural materials, some textiles, and objects in tones consistent with the surroundings, including the blue water from the swimming pool. The feeling of fluidity and serenity are amplified by the landscape.

We worked with Lígia Casanova on the interior design project for our country house in the Alentejo. It was our second experience working with her, having previously worked together on our apartment in Lisbon.

We chose to work with Lígia because we truly identify with the style of her projects. On top of that, her empathy and ability to adapt to our needs and requirements were absolutely five-star.
