Country Blue, in the very center of Alcácer do Sal (Alentejo, south of Portugal), is perhaps our most Instagrammable project!

It has been entirely refurbished, featuring a new floor, because the challenge was to make its interiors look like a white box seen on the ceiling, floor, and walls, which should receive a single color, the beautiful blue that reminds us of the sea and the proximity of the famous and international Comporta.

In addition to white and blue, we've also added rugs and some straw-colored fittings, and everything here is quite minimalist, with a touch of ethnicity and simply cozy. Country Blue has been published all over the world and is now so well known that it's only searched for as a blue house.

The Blue House was the first expression of love that Lígia gave to our family.

It was the first place where we experienced her very special way of looking at a home, of understanding the people who would live in it, and of transforming spaces into places filled with meaning.

The Blue House brings us a unique energy. It has the blue of the sea stretching out before us, the light, the tranquillity, the joy, and that wonderful feeling of arriving and knowing that we are home.

Nothing about this house is indifferent to us. Every space, every choice, and every little detail carries something of who we are. And that is only possible because there was someone who knew how to listen to us, observe us, and understand us.

Thank you, Lígia, for the way you know us and for being able to understand what we want, even when we do not always know how to put it into words ourselves. Thank you for the care, sensitivity, and affection you poured into this home.

The Blue House was the beginning of a very beautiful story with you, and the first of many expressions of love that you have brought into our family.
