A very significant project for Casa Decor 2007, because it marked our shift, 16 years ago, towards a more Scandinavian, more minimalist approach. That's when we opted for a different line of work.
Here, the kitchen had a multi-function island, the general atmosphere was very informal, the bookshelf displayed paper cuttings from Asian newspapers, the dining area had a solid wooden table with generous legs, with the wall entirely illustrated, but in very calm tones, all of it very Zen.
The use of color comes from the lamp and the touches of color on the chairs, poufs, and crochet rug... The canapé had a fabric on which you could read an embroidered cooking recipe, among other details that we really enjoyed developing and matching.
