We transformed an impersonal space into a corner that breathes Sintra, mixing the serenity of the mountains with the warmth of a house.

The white walls were given subtle boiseries and soft green tones: a tribute to the historic roofs and the vegetation outside.
On the upper floors, the wooden ceilings spoke for themselves, with raw white walls giving them space.
Challenges such as uneven walls were solved with simple mouldings and oak fronts in the bathrooms, which brought cosiness without complicating matters. Practical materials (linen, which ages well) and furniture with clean lines, but with headboards full of personality, created environments where the light, through adjustable spots or concrete lamps, knows how to adapt to the moment.

We cannot thank Ligia enough for the incredible transformation she has brought to our new boutique guest house in Sintra, Portugal. From the very beginning, she understood our vision and captured the essence of what we wanted to create perfectly. Her design expertise, attention to detail, and ability to blend functionality with beauty truly brought us a lot of comfort throughout the project. Each space is not only a reflection of our style but also a welcoming, serene environment for our guests.
Working with Ligia was a pleasure, and we feel so great to have had her creative touch throughout this journey. We’re beyond thrilled with the result and look forward to sharing the beautiful space she’s created with our guests.
